旋球閥與蝶閥結構一樣分為閥門本體(閥體、閥板、閥軸、閥座、密封壓圈等),其中密封副的兩個密封而上可根據不同的硬度需要運用等離子噴涂、堆焊等先進工藝形成硬質合金,能自動對正中心(自適應),自動越程補償磨損,自動加以極高密封比壓,瞬間關閉、瞬間打開密封刷間無摩擦打開時閥芯投影不斷脹并前進結構短、體積小可制造大口徑、特大口徑、超大口徑的閥門運輸、安裝、維護檢修方便、運行可靠等一系列優點。

雙向流閥門的最主要功能是既能在正向壓力時密封良好,在反向壓力或反向壓力大于正向壓力時也能密封良好。當正向壓力作用時,介質壓力推動閥板向前移動,閥桿變形,甩板密封面緊貼閥座密封面傳遞壓力,將閥座推向閥體臺階,使之密封良好。當反向壓力作用時,介質壓力推動閥板向后移動,閥桿變形,介質壓力同時推動閥座密封面緊貼閥板密封面傳遞壓力,將閥座推向閥桿極限變形位置,使之密封良好
