高粘度臥式齒輪式流量計采用液體推動一對橢圓齒輪轉動；每個腔體的容積是固定體積；齒輪轉速引出，傳感器發出同步脈沖計數，橢圓齒輪的轉動通過磁性密封聯軸器及傳動減速機構傳遞給計數器直接指示出流經流量計的總量。若附加發信裝置后，再配以電顯示儀表可實現遠傳只是瞬時流量或累積流量。主要用于測量高粘度的介質，用于測量小管徑的微小流量計量，廣泛應用于石油、石化、天然氣、化工、造紙等行業。

The gear flowmeter uses liquid to drive a pair of elliptical gears to rotate; The volume of each cavity is a fixed volume; The rotation speed of the gear is led out, and the sensor emits a synchronous pulse count. The rotation of the elliptical gear is transmitted to the counter through a magnetic sealed coupling and transmission reduction mechanism, directly indicating the total amount flowing through the flowmeter. If a signaling device is added and an electrical display instrument is used, remote transmission of only instantaneous or cumulative flow can be achieved. It is mainly used for measuring high viscosity media, and for measuring small pipe diameters in micro flow metering. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, petrochemical, natural gas, chemical industry, and paper making.
